Motorola has unveiled three new foldable phones — the Razr 2025, Razr Plus 2025, and Razr Ultra 2025 — alongside the new Moto Buds Loop earbuds, the Moto Watch Fit smartwatch, and more. The three new Razr phones are built with AI in mind, and we learned that they also feature several firsts for AI in smartphones.
A choice of AI platforms

Out of the box, all three Razr devices come preinstalled with Google Gemini as the default voice assistant. However, in addition to this, all three devices also have access to rival AI platforms, including Perplexity and Microsoft CoPilot. If you buy one of the new Razr models, you’ll also get access to three months of Perplexity Pro for free.

The Razr Ultra 2025 is the only model to use the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which also gives it access to a neural processing unit with 80 TOPS of performance. This means that it’s also the only phone capable of running Meta’s Llama 3.2 model, which is powering Motorola’s new Look and Talk feature.
New Moto AI features

The new feature enables you to interact with Moto AI without touching the screen or using voice commands when using the Razr Ultra 2025 in stand or tent mode. This means you can instantly access Moto AI features at a glance without needing to activate them. For those who prefer, you can also activate these features by pressing and holding the dedicated AI key.
The new Razr 2025 series comes equipped with a range of new Moto AI features. The Look and Talk feature is exclusive to the Razr Ultra 2025, but all three devices also gain access to upgraded versions of the original Moto AI features.
These includeCatch Me Up to summarize notifications, Remember This to save and easily recall screenshots, and Pay Attention to start a voice recording complete with instant transcription.
When can you get these devices?

All three devices are also the first to debut new Moto AI 2.0 features, including Next Move, which reads what’s on your screen and recommends next steps, such as creating a music playlist, generating images with Image Studio, or saving important details to recall them later easily.
Pre-orders for the new Motorola Razr 2025 line-up open on May 7, starting at $699.99, with all three devices on sale on May 15.

Motorola Razr 60 leak predicts an odd mix of good and bad news
Motorola’s upcoming clamshell-style foldable phones keep popping up in leaks. The latest one spills the beans on the whole package, including the design and its internal hardware. The entire Razr 60 kit, which might launch in the US as the Razr (2026), is a familiar affair but with a weird set of upgrades and downgrades.
The latest leak comes courtesy of XpertPick and suggests the phone will come in three color options, each with a unique surface finish on the rear shell. The Pantone Gibraltar Sea version offers a rough nylon-inspired finish, while the Pantone Lightest Sky shade comes with a bright acetate finish.
Smaller, but sturdier
The core design language remains identical to the Razr 50, but there is a notable durability upgrade this time around. The Razr 50 offered only IPX8-rated protection, while the Razr 60 will reportedly serve a stronger IP48 clearance for dust and water resistance.

Motorola has made a pink Razr with the help of Paris Hilton
It’s a collaboration few saw coming, but Motorola has partnered with socialite, actress, influencer, and entrepreneur Paris Hilton to create a special edition of the Motorola Razr Plus (2024) smartphone. The limited edition model comes in an exclusive color and with a range of customizations, plus a selection of Paris-style accessories.
You’ll have guessed the color even without seeing the images, as it’s “Paris Pink.” Motorola continues to use its vegan leather material for the rear panel, and if you look closely you’ll spot Hilton’s signature on the back, along with “That’s Hot” engraved on the hinge. “Pink is not just a color. It’s an attitude,” Hilton wrote on her Instagram page in 2020, and a year later on X added, “Puppies and the color pink are two of my favorite things,” just in case you were in any doubt about why the shade was chosen.

The Motorola Razr Plus (2025) just leaked, and it’s far from exciting
Motorola is launching a new flagship flip phone soon. It is slated to get an overdue processor upgrade, though the other specifications could fail to ignite the same excitement. A new leak reveals design changes -- or their lack -- that the Motorola Razr Plus (2025) comes with.
Based on the images by Android Headlines, the design of the Motorola Razr Plus (2025) has barely changed over the last generation. It retains the same physique as last year, without changes to the sizes of the dual displays -- inside and outside the flip phone.
Minimal changes to the leather finish
The bottom half of the back is still wrapped in faux leather, but with subtle differences from the previous generation. This year, we could see a stitch pattern beyond the curved part of the edges. The leak also reveals a new color option, noticeably darker than the green we saw last year.
